Kildia Martinez, Provider Relations Promotion

November 17, 2022–We are excited to announce the promotion of Kildia Martinez from Account Manager to Manager, Provider Relations. Kildia started her VNS Health career 18 years ago as a nurse Escort Translator. She has since held various roles within Home Care and Health Plan Membership Eligibility Unit (MEU) before joining the Provider Relations team. Kildia has proven herself to be leader and has a wealth of knowledge about the MLTC product and providers. She has used her agility, determination, and innovation to develop measurement techniques, train staff, and improve provider satisfaction.  Kildia will oversee the MLTC Provider Relations Account Managers and daily operations of the Provider Relations Team. Desiree Heath-Coates, MEU Promotion

November 10, 2022–We are excited to announce the promotion of Desiree Heath-Coates from Senior Enrollment Coordinator to Supervisor of Membership Operations. Desiree has been with VNS Health for over 20 years, and, during that time, has held various roles and has contributed greatly to her team and the overall operations of MEU. Desiree has developed a wealth of knowledge on the pre-enrollment process and consumer eligibility for our managed long term care plans over the years and has proven herself to be a leader and great resource for our department and team. Desiree works very closely with our Maximus liaisons to ensure potential member enrollments into our health plans are submitted and processed by Maximus in a timely manner, in addition to working to resolving any barriers that may prevent potential member enrollment. Desiree will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Enrollment Coordinator Administrative Team. Congratulations, Desiree!

Monica Cayemitte, Home Care Promotion

October 20, 2022–Please join us in congratulating Monica Cayemitte, who as of September 24th, became the new Branch Director for Home Care’s Westchester Region! Monica started her career at VNS Health in 2018 as a Clinical Field Manager in the Queens region. The next year, she also assumed a management role for the MNP and Behavioral Health specialty programs in the Queens region. In 2020, she became the Clinical Manager for the Nurse Residency Program and CHHA infusion, and, later, began collaborating with the Clinical Education department on improving the onboarding process for all new CHHA clinicians. Under the mentorship of Regional Vice President, Yvonne Eaddy, she developed the nurse preceptor team that is now responsible for clinical field support of new and incumbent CHHA nurses. Kettely Bastien, Membership Operations Promotion

October 13, 2022–As part of the ongoing transformation of Membership Operations (MEU) and the MSO expansion, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Kettely Bastien to Manager, Medicaid Operations.  Kettely brings a wealth of knowledge and is a subject matter expert on Medicaid eligibility having worked at the Human Resources Administration (HRA) office for 10 years prior to joining VNS Health. Over the past 12 years, Kettely has held multiple positions within MEU (Membership Eligibility Unit) and has demonstrated her commitment to maximizing our premium revenue collection with her tireless efforts and follow-ups with the HRA/DSS offices to reinstate Medicaid coverages for our members who have lost their Medicaid and/or need to be relinked to our plans. Kettely has a high rate of success at maintaining the Medicaid eligibility of our members for our MAP and MLTC plans.  Kettely, will lead the development and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medicaid Recertification team.   

Marzena Proszowska-Lambert, Personal Care Team Promotion

September 28, 2022–It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm to share with you that Marzena Proszowska-Lambert is Personal Care’s new Clinical Director! Marzena has been with VNS Health since April 2015. She started her journey as a per-diem RNFS, and then in the NORC, and finally landed as Clinical Manager in January 2016. In that time, she has proven herself to be a highly skilled professional, dedicated to the delivery of high quality and consumer-focused patient care. In this new role, Marzena will continue her pursuit of excellence along with the entire clinical team, leading us further towards achieving our goal to become the leading licensed agency in the metropolitan region. Andrea Corza-Rivera, Contact Center Shared Service Promotion

September 28, 2022–We are excited to announce that Andrea Corza-Rivera has been promoted to Manager, Contact Center, Hospice within the Contact Center Shared Service. Andrea has been with VNS Health since 2016, serving as a Home Care Coordinator in Westchester, a Clinical Liaison for Business Development, an After-Hours Supervisor for Hospice Care, and, most recently, the Lead Clinical Supervisor for the After-Hours Triage Nurses in the Contact Center Shared Service. In her new role, Andrea will manage and coordinate the day-to-day clinical operations of the Contact Center Shared Service to ensure a customer-focused operation that provides continuity of care to all patients and their families to meet VNS Health standards, goals, and objectives. Andrea graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with a BSN in 2015 and obtained an MSN in Nursing Administration in 2021.  Please join us in congratulating Andrea on her promotion!

Martha Schueneman, Marketing Promotion

September 21, 2022–Martha Schueneman has been promoted to Associate Director, Marketing Content and Editorial. Since joining VNS Health full time in 2019 (after more than 10 years as a consultant), Martha has continued to improve and grow digital and marketing content strategy across the organization. Martha recently played a pivotal role in the complete rebuild and consolidation of the corporate website under the new VNS Health “One Brand” mission. In her new role, Martha will continue to evolve and expand the over-arching strategies and governance of VNS Health’s marketing content and editorial. She will be interfacing with team leaders across the organization to ensure that the voice of VNS Health remains aligned and strengthens the brand vision as we move into the future. James Farrell, Strategy Team Promotion

September 21, 2022–Please join us in congratulating James Farrell on his recent promotion to Senior Project Manager, Government Grants on the VNS Health Strategy Team! James joins the Government Grants team with a wealth of experience after spending the past five years as a Paralegal in VNS Health’s Legal Department. In that role, he played an important part in managing insurance claims and relationships, Medicare and Medicaid legal filings and requirements, and grants contracts and related requirements. Prior to joining VNS Health, he worked as a Paralegal within the healthcare and insurance industries. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University. Deborah Cho, Behavioral Health Promotion

September 1, 2022–Deborah Cho, LCSW, has almost 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University, then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University. She has worked in numerous settings, including hospitals, public schools, an inpatient rehabilitation center, a juvenile detention facility, and in the community, conducting home visits. Deborah joined VNS Health in 2015 and has held multiple positions, including Psychiatric Social Worker (Promise Zone Program), Program Coordinator (Bronx Mobile Crisis Team), and currently is the Program Manager for the Behavioral Health Community Transitions Program. In her new role as Associate Director of Hybrid Programs, Deborah will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Behavioral Health Community Transitions Program, Parachute Program, and Pathway Home Program, including clinical and administrative functions, utilization and management of staff, and quality of client care.
