“Leadership Unlocked” Graduates Third Cohort of Leaders
June 24, 2026–The third cohort of Leadership Unlocked held its graduation on Tuesday, June 16th. The day marked the successful completion of the 15-week leadership development program. Throughout the program, 15 Vice Presidents and Directors from across the organization deepened their leadership capabilities through interactive learning experiences, coaching, assessments, VNS Health site visits, and internal networking opportunities. The cohort’s final capstone presentations focused on how their understanding of one VNS Health has changed as a result of being in this program, and how they, as leaders, can help move our organization forward. Over 30 VNS Health Team Members Walked in the 41st Annual AIDS Walk!
May 20, 2026–On Sunday morning, May 17, over 30 VNS Health team members from across the organization came together in Central Park to walk in the 41st annual AIDS Walk. The money raised by the Walk will help support vital health services to those living with HIV. See the photos below!

May 5, 2026–As part of this year’s Nurses Month celebration, we are delighted to announce that the 2026 VNS Health Nurse of the Year is… Jane Reilly, Clinical Care Manager in Personal Care! This year, there were 47 nurses nominated for the Nurse of the Year Award, from which 8 finalists were selected. Please click here to see a list of all the nominees. The finalists are: With over forty years’ experience in home care nursing—the last seven of them at VNS Health—Jane Reilly combines the skills of active listening, agile problem-solving, and deep collaboration as she manages the care of vulnerable New Yorkers who want to live safely and independently in their homes. In her role as Clinical Care Manager, Jane is responsible for Queens and Long Island Personal Care clients as well as for approving all of the agency’s Private Care cases that involve clients receiving skilled nursing services. The 2026 VNS Health Social Work Month Celebration Photos and Video Are Here!
March 31, 2026–March is National Social Work Month. On March 24th, to honor this special occasion, over 120 Social Services Professionals gathered at our 220 East 42nd Street location for a fun breakfast celebration. The morning’s proceedings included presentations by CEO Dan Savitt and SVP for Behavioral Health Jessica Fear, a salute to Gender Affirmation Program’s Asha Lyons as the 2026 winner of the VNS Health Social Services Professional of the Year Award, and a raffle. A continuing education unit (CEU) followed. For those Social Services Professionals who were unable to make the event, a similar virtual celebration occured two days later that included a presentation by Chief of Provider Services David Rosales.
