Congrats to Our HR Team Members on Their Promotions!
July 6, 2023–Congratulations to Human Resources team members, Andrew Wise, Kristen Rosen, Christina Bitton, and Grace Martin, who have each received promotions, effective Wednesday, June 28, 2023! Read more about each below. Andrew Wise has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Learning & Development, Culture and Inclusion. The Learning & Development function is an addition to his responsibilities. Maria Jackson will report to him. Kristen Rosen has been promoted to Associate Director, Talent Acquisition reporting to Gail Thakarar in the interim, while a search is conducted for a VP, Talent Acquisition. Christina Bitton has been promoted to Manager, Talent Acquisition, managing the Clinical Hub. Grace Martin has been promoted to Manager, Talent Acquisition, managing the HHA and Business hub.

Susan Rabinowitz, Behavioral Health Promotion
June 23, 2022–Congratulations to Susan Rabinowitz, who has been promoted to Associate Vice President, Quality Improvement & Data Management! Susan received her BA in Anthropology from SUNY at Stony Brook and her MBA from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business. She started at VNS Health in 1996 as the IT Liaison for BH and has added quality, compliance, and other administrative functions to her role over the years. To reflect the expansion of her responsibilities she was promoted to Director of Quality Improvement and Special Projects in 2007 and Director of Business Strategy, Quality, and Compliance in 2019. Over the more than 25 years that Susan has been with BH, she has had the opportunity to work with all of our programs and staff, and has found this to be the most rewarding professional experience of her life. Ricky Zhu, Compliance Promotion
June 9, 2022–Congratulations to Ricky Zhu, who has been promoted to Compliance Analytics Manager for the Compliance & Legal Operations team. Ricky started working at VNS Health in January 2020 as a Senior Data and Reporting Analyst for the Product team, where his main responsibilities were assisting in the development and preparation of ad hoc reports to help each business area and conducting detailed data analysis on data used across business units in order to evaluate and improve business processes. Prior to joining VNS Health, Ricky worked as a consultant for Cognizant. Ricky has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University. Valerio Bruscianelli, Care Management Strategy Promotion
June 9, 2022–It is our pleasure to announce that Valerio Bruscianelli has been promoted to Director of Operations for Population Health and Clinical Support Services reporting to Rose Madden-Baer, Senior Vice President of Population Health and Clinical Support Services, as of June 6th. Valerio has been with VNS Health for 6 years, beginning as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Finance Department, before moving into the position of Clinical Support Operations Manager for the Care Management Organization in 2018. Prior to joining VNS Health, Valerio worked at Emblem Health as a Capitation Specialist. Valerio has a Master of Business Administration in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from Pace University. Additionally, Valerio has also recently served as an OKR Champion for VNS Health Care Management, is a graduate from the VNS Health ACE Leadership program, and has a Lean Six Sigma Green belt. Maryam Gaibi, Hospice Promotion
June 2, 2022–Congratulations to Maryam Gaibi on her promotion to Associate Vice President, Clinical Operations, Hospice. Maryam began working at VNS Health in 2012 and has held many roles throughout this time. She started as a Hospice Clinical Supervisor in Queens before transitioning to Hospice Team Manager in 2016. She later was promoted to a Clinical Director role. Prior to VNS Health, Maryam worked at MJHS for over 14 years. Maryam holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a CHPN Certification in Hospice. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Please join us in congratulating Maryam in her new role!
Natalie Cheltenham-Festa, Hospice Promotion
June 2, 2022–Congratulations to Natalie Cheltenham-Festa on her promotion to Associate Vice President, Clinical Operations, Hospice. Natalie started working at VNS Health in 2005 and has held many roles throughout this time. She started as a Home Care field clinician and then transferred to Hospice in 2007, where she worked as a Hospice intake referral nurse before becoming a Clinical Liaison with account hospitals. Natalie was named to Hospice Team Manager for Manhattan in 2009, and was later promoted to a Clinical Director role. Prior to joining VNS Health, Natalie worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for 15 years. Her last position there was at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urological cancers. Natalie holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a Nurse Practitioner degree in Adult Health. Please join me in congratulating Natalie in her new role!
Brady Brelinski, Patient Care Services Promotion
May 26, 2022–Congratulations to Brady Brelinski who is being promoted to Associate Vice President, Clinical Operations. Brady has worked at VNS Health for 22 years. Throughout his tenure, Brady has served in many capacities, starting as an RN Coordinator of Care, and then becoming a Team Facilitator. He went on to work in several management roles, including Patient Service Manager, Float Manager, and Interdisciplinary Care Team Manager, and Associate Director of Operations. Most recently, Brady was Director of Clinical Operations. Brady is an ACE graduate, holds an MSN and MBA, and is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. Congratulations again on the promotion!
Anny Wan, Patient Care Services Promotion
May 26, 2022–Congratulations to Anny Wan, who has been promoted to Associate Vice President, Clinical Outcomes, Utilization, and Coding. Anny has been working at VNS Health for 25 years and has held many roles throughout this time. Beginning as a Home Care field clinician, Anny then served as a Patient Service Manager, followed by time as an Interdisciplinary Care Team Lead. Most recently, Anny worked as the Director of Clinical Utilization and OASIS/Coding Integrity. Anny holds a Baccalaureate in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Nursing Informatics, and is also certified for OASIS and Home Care Coding. Congratulations in your new role!
Allison Simms, Home Care Promotion
May 26, 2022–Allison Simms has been promoted to Associate Director of Rehabilitation Services for Home Care, effective May 21, 2022. In this role, Allison will be responsible for standardizing rehab services and recruitment initiatives for Rehab. Allison has been with VNS Health for over 10 years and has worked in various parts of the organization. She initially worked in Health Plans where she spent three years as the Rehab Clinical Manager; and most recently, she was Rehab Clinical Manager for Clinical Support Services in Home Care. She has attained degrees in Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Health Administration. Allison strives to improve quality outcomes and support the clinical team with unique perspectives and solutions in the delivery of care. Allison, congratulations on your promotion! Florianne Mereigh, Hospice and Palliative Care Promotion
May 19, 2022–Florianne Mereigh has been promoted from Hospice Clinical Supervisor to Hospice Team Manager for the HXN team. Florianne joined VNS Health Hospice and Palliative care in August 2020 as a Clinical Supervisor for the Bronx team. During this time, Florianne supported the interdisciplinary team by responding to patient/caregiver calls, supporting families in accordance with patients plan of care, and providing ongoing collaboration with HTM and HTP, along with many other important roles and responsibilities. In her new role, Florianne will provide leadership oversight to the Bronx North team, working closely with IDG team members. Florianne has a strong work ethic, and is conscientious and passionate about what she does. Florianne has a Master’s degree in Health Policy and Management, and a PhD in Education. Congratulations to Florianne on her new role!
