AIDS Walk New York 2023: Join Us in Central Park on Sunday, May 21
March 24, 2023–AIDS Walk New York is happy to announce the Walk will be in Central Park on Sunday, May 21st! You can join your colleagues from VNS Health and SelectHealth for this great annual event supporting the fight against HIV/AIDS. To register (no donation required): Participants will receive a t-shirt at the event. On Sunday, May 21st, enter Central Park at 72nd Street from either the East or West sides. Walkers check in upon arrival – the registration check-in opens at 8:30 a.m. Meet the SelectHealth Team at the Team Meeting Station along Literary Walk by 9:40 a.m. to pick-up your t-shirt. We also plan to take a big group photo before the start of the AIDS Walk! Inaugural Meeting for VNS Health’s Asian American/Pacific Islander ERG is on November 14th
November 3, 2022–Our Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) ERG will foster an inclusive space for the diverse and unique needs of our Asian American and Pacific Islander team members including raising awareness of AAPI culture, heritage, and issues. The AAPI ERG will provide an opportunity to enhance visibility of AAPI history, advocate for the needs of the community, connect and celebrate each other, and create a more equitable workplace. Inaugural Meeting for VNS Health’s Black ERG is on November 8th
November 3, 2022–Our Black ERG will focus on the distinction and diversity of the Black community at VNS Health. It will concentrate on raising awareness of the beauty and brilliance of this community while working to abate disparities and implicit bias experienced by our Black team members. November 3, 2022–Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to share that we will be hosting a volunteer opportunity for VNS Health Cares, in collaboration with God’s Love We Deliver, on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 10 AM – 1 PM. VNS Health team members will volunteer on kitchen projects at God’s Love We Deliver located in Manhattan at 166 Avenue of the Americas (Entrance is on the corner of Spring and 6th Avenue). There is a max of 30 VNS Health team members who can participate in this volunteer opportunity! Domingo Faulk Retiring After 27 Years of Service at VNS Health!
September 8, 2022–Congratulations to Domingo Faulk, Mail Stock Order Clerk, who after 27 years of service at VNS Health, will be retiring on September 30th! Domingo will be greatly missed at VNS Health, but we wish him the best of luck in this next chapter. To honor him, we will be hosting a retirement party with cake, coffee, and light refreshments.
