Social Services Community of Professionals (SSCoP) Kick-off Event on Friday, February 3rd

January 12, 2023–The Social Services Community of Professionals (SSCoP) is having a virtual kick-off event on Friday, February 3rd. Two sessions will be offered: 9:00 – 10:00 AM and 3:00 – 4:00 PM. If you currently have a career in a helping profession, such as social work, psychology or case management – or you will in the future – you’re invited to join! Volunteer From the Comfort of Your Home with VNS Health Cares on MLK Day of Service 2023

January 6, 2023–Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday that honors the life and legacy of the civil rights leader.  It is also a designated national “day of service” – a time to reflect on Dr. King’s message of improving our society and to volunteer to help our neighbors and our communities. For MLK Day of Service 2023, January 16th, VNS Health Cares has organized a volunteer activity where VNS Health team members will send greeting cards to some of VNS Health’s most vulnerable patients, members, and clients. Inaugural Meeting for VNS Health’s People of Color ERG is on November 15th

November 3, 2022–Our People of Color ERG will focus on continuing the work of anti-racism. It will support a culture that embraces diversity, inclusion, and equity, with a “zero tolerance” for racism. It will celebrate differences. Additionally, it will support our work to increase diverse representation in critical VNS Health roles. The first meeting will be held on: Tuesday, November 15th, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.
