AIDS Walk New York 2023: Join Us in Central Park on Sunday, May 21
March 24, 2023–AIDS Walk New York is happy to announce the Walk will be in Central Park on Sunday, May 21st! You can join your colleagues from VNS Health and SelectHealth for this great annual event supporting the fight against HIV/AIDS. To register (no donation required): Participants will receive a t-shirt at the event. On Sunday, May 21st, enter Central Park at 72nd Street from either the East or West sides. Walkers check in upon arrival – the registration check-in opens at 8:30 a.m. Meet the SelectHealth Team at the Team Meeting Station along Literary Walk by 9:40 a.m. to pick-up your t-shirt. We also plan to take a big group photo before the start of the AIDS Walk! Juan Flores Retiring After Nearly 38 Years of Service at VNS Health!
June 8, 2023–Congratulations to Juan Flores, Manager, Administrative Services and Facilities, who after 37 years and 8 months of service at VNS Health, is officially retiring! Juan will be very much missed by us all, but we wish him the very best – and lots of bird watching – as he moves into his next chapter. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of future ERG events. Volunteer for Sunday Baking with God’s Love We Deliver on May 7th
April 19, 2023–We are happy to share this volunteer opportunity with VNS Health Cares, in collaboration with God’s Love We Deliver! Come volunteer for Sunday Baking with God’s Love We Deliver on May 7th, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. God’s Love We Deliver provides nutrition therapy, and prepares food and home-delivers medically tailored meals for people living with severe illness in the New York City metropolitan area. All of their services are provided free to clients and full of love. Where is it? VNS Health team members will volunteer on kitchen projects at God’s Love We Deliver located in Manhattan at 166 Avenue of the Americas (Entrance is on the corner of Spring and 6th Avenue).
