Erica Rojas, Director, HR Business Partner

On April 18, Erica Rojas comes to VNSNY with 15+ years of Human Resources experience. Her professional career has included roles at human capital management provider ADP, international law firm Shearman & Sterling and, most recently, global ratings agency Fitch Ratings.

Erica’s experience working with both internal and external clients as a Human Resources Business Partner inspires her to lead with a people-centric approach. She prides herself in providing a top-notch client experience, and prioritizes establishing strong relationships with those she supports. Erica truly believes that knowledge from these ongoing and established partnerships, over time, becomes priceless in understanding where business wants and needs, and big-picture people policy, intertwine. With a vast array of HR experience, Erica hopes to bring her wide-ranging background to the table for all things People-related. Erica’s experience includes, but is not limited to: hands-on engagement in the full employee life cycle—recruiting to retirement/resignation, employee relations and performance management, compensation, headcount planning, and organizational and change management administration, as well as special project exposure such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives surrounding sourcing and selection.

Erica is actively engaged in continuing education to keep abreast of hot topics and remain sharp in her profession; dedicated to the understanding that we can always learn more, she holds both Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications, attained after pursuing her Master’s degree focused on Human Resources Management from Stony Brook University.

Erica is extremely excited to join VNSNY as Director, HR Business Partner, supporting Business Development and the corporate functions (Finance, IT, Business Intelligence & Analytics, and Corporate Strategy).
