Dayana Laventure, Veteran’s Benefits Support Coordinator, Veteran’s Program

March 22, 2023–Please welcome Dayana Laventure to VNS Health! Dayana is joining the team as a Veteran’s Benefits Support Coordinator for the Veteran’s Program. Dayana came to the United States in 2006, and, within a few years, joined the US Army. She was able to offer and bring her military experience to the civilian world, where she became an expert on dealing with people and offering her services.  Dayana has worked for more than eight years in customer services and healthcare, which has made her even more passionate about helping people. The best part, she says, is meeting different people from many cultures and backgrounds, and being able to communicate and help, regardless of language barriers. Dayana has also been able to help her fellow military members and has taken pride and pleasure in helping every individual. This led her to pursue a career in the healthcare field so that she can

Victor Interiano, Veteran’s Outreach Liaison, Veteran’s Program

March 22, 2023–Victor Interiano joins the Veteran’s Outreach Program as a Veteran’s Outreach Liaison. He will be assisting Veterans in home care and hospice by connecting them to benefits and resources they may be eligible for. Victor is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During his service, he deployed overseas to support Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.   Victor’s passion for helping others led him to obtain a Master of Social Work from Boston University. He has worked in various fields, including oncology social work, outpatient substance use, and mental illness. He holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University and speaks Spanish fluently. Satish Dhanna, Supervisor, Veteran’s Program

March 22, 2023–Please welcome Satish Dhanna as the new Supervisor for the Veteran’s Program. Satish is a Veteran who has dedicated his career to working within the Veteran community. His professional palette centers on providing Veterans with the tools and resources needed to transition from their time in service back into civilian society. Satish comes to VNS Health with 11 years of professional experience, encompassing work within the military and in the human and social services field, providing VA and non-VA resources for housing, employment, benefits, and medical services to Veterans and their families. Seven of those years included providing Intensive Case Management services and outreach to formerly homeless Veterans who were chronically homeless or were at risk of homelessness in the New York City Area. Additionally, Satish is trained and certified by the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) to provide peer support to Veterans and others engaged in mental health treatment to identify

Erikat Piguave, HR Generalist

March 16, 2023–Please welcome Erikat Piguave who joined VNS Health on March 13th as an HR Generalist. Erikat comes to VNS Health with 7+ years of Human Resources experience.  Erikat was previously an HR Manager at Independence Care System where she supported approximately 130 team members ranging from Senior to Mid-level Management, RNs, Care Navigators, and Administrative Support staff. In 2019, Erikat supported a member merger with Independence Care System and VNS Health where she spearheaded efforts to place Independence Care System employees at VNS Health. Erikat’s experience at Independence Care System has allowed her to expand her skills in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, conflict resolution, and coaching managers. Wayne Nemath, Director of Benefits

March 16, 2023–Please join us as we welcome Wayne Nemath to VNS Health as the new Director of Benefits. Wayne comes to VNS Health with 30 years of experience in benefits, most recently having spent 10 years as the Global Benefits Manager at MillerKnoll, a design-focused collection of furniture brands for the home and office. Prior to that, he held benefits roles at Resources Global Professionals, Deloitte Consulting, Kulicke & Soffa, Mercy Health System, Rancocas Hospital, and the Allegheny Health System. Wayne lives in Plymouth Meeting, a little town in Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia, with his wife, Holly and two sons, Wyatt and Ryan. Aside from keeping up with Philadelphia sports, Wayne can be found on the weekends tending to his vegetable garden or spending time wading through the streams of Pennsylvania with a fly rod stalking trout. Merrissa Crawford, HR Generalist

March 1, 2023–Please welcome Merrissa Crawford who joined VNS Health on February 27th as an HR Generalist. Merrissa comes to VNS Health with 5+ years of human resources experience. She began her professional career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Care Coordinator, and later joined Lowenstein Sandler as a Coordinator in the Human Resources department. Merrissa’s experience in both the law firm and healthcare industries have allowed her to expand her professional brand in the areas of employee relations, policy implementation, and process improvement. During her tenure at Lowenstein Sandler, she was able to make countless contributions to the employee review process, as well as lead the firm-wide mentorship and parental leave programs. Other areas in which she has contributed include onboarding and integration, compensation analysis, conflict resolution, and employee engagement. Lauren Greene, Director of Marketing

February 22, 2023–We are excited to announce that Lauren Greene has joined VNS Health as Director of Marketing. She will be leading marketing efforts for VNS Health enterprise and provider services. This will include managing our media and creative strategies to maintain VNS Health awareness in the community, and partnering with our Business Development (BD) and line of business leads on defining marketing strategies and delivering on marketing needs to support key business objectives. Lauren has dedicated her entire career to healthcare communications, coming to VNS Health with extensive experience in marketing across digital and traditional channels and for a variety of audiences. Prior to joining VNS Health, Lauren was at NYU Langone Health for 10+ years, where she led brand advertising, regional and growth marketing, and digital marketing initiatives, including patient digital experience. She spent the first half of her career in the agency world, at Edelman PR, where she worked

T.K. Small, Government and Operations Advisor

January 5, 2023–We are excited to announce that T.K. Small has been brought on as a Government and Operations Advisor, a part-time position. An attorney focusing on healthcare and disability policy and law, T.K. was formerly Director of Policy for Concepts of Independence, Inc., a fiscal intermediary. In 2020, T.K was appointed by former Governor Cuomo to serve on the Medicaid Redesign Team II as the independent representative of New Yorkers with disabilities. He formerly consulted with the NYS State Independent Living Council, has served on the Board of Directors of Independence Care Systems (ICS), and has worked with multiple disability rights organizations. As part of the Government Affairs team, T.K. will work on public policy and advocacy issues, and support VNS Health from a consumer issues perspective, including those related to people with serious physical disabilities.  T.K. is a graduate of Long Island University and Brooklyn Law School, where he earned his

Susan (Su) Green, Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations

December 15, 2022–Susan (Su) Green joins VNS Health as a Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations.  Su is an initiative-taking Human Resources professional with experience in designing and implementing programs within Talent Acquisition. Su’s client-first mindset will allow her to lead Talent Acquisition programs focused on recruitment marketing strategy, candidate experience, process improvement, project management, training, reporting, and vendor management. Su brings experience within the IT, healthcare, and government sectors. Su enjoys spending time with her family, filling her house with antique furniture, and enjoying charcuterie boards with friends. She is excited to partner with team members throughout the organization to promote VNS Health as the employer of choice. Su reports to Jaime Martinez, Director, Talent Acquisition.
