With the Launch of Our New “Touching Lives” Marketing Campaign, VNSNY Is All Over Town

August 28, 2018

VNSNY is rolling out its new fall marketing campaign—and it’s making a splash all over town! As of this week…

1,200 overhead ads for VNSNY have been placed in New York City subway cars…

…digital posters are running on screens in 50 subway entrance stairwells across Manhattan…

…ads are posted on phone kiosks near six of our major hospital referrers…

…and almost 200 New York City buses are featuring VNSNY ads on their side panels.

The campaign also includes a series of digital banners…

…and multilingual print ads in local publications, showing VNSNY clinicians caring for patients under the headline, “Touching 48,000 Lives Every Day.”

And starting in early September, VNSNY street banners will also be posted in the Grand Central area surrounding our new offices at 220 East 42nd Street to coincide with VNSNY’s arrival in our new neighborhood.

The marketing campaign, which will run through the rest of 2018, is timed to coincide with the celebration of VNSNY’s 125th anniversary. The campaign includes consumer and business-to-business outreach, all aimed at building awareness of VNSNY’s incomparable legacy as a health care pioneer, as well as its continued commitment to deliver programs and services that support individual health and well-being at home and in the community.

All Hands on Deck: Send Us Your Selfies Posing with a VNSNY Ad!

To celebrate the campaign’s launch, we’re putting out a call for selfies of yourself, alone or with your VNSNY colleagues, with the new VNSNY ads. “Consider snapping a selfie at one of the Midtown subway stations featuring our digital-screen ads, or if you’re one of the lucky ones, on a subway train anywhere within the system” says Catherine Callaway, Vice President, Marketing and Development. Locations of station ads include subway entrances at 42nd and 8th Avenue (Port Authority), 34th Street and 7th Ave (Penn Station), 34th Street and 8th Ave (Penn Station), and 34th Street and Broadway/6th Avenue, adjacent to VNSNY’s 1250 Broadway offices. (The digital ads run in a loop with other advertisements, so you may have to watch for a bit before seeing the VNSNY ad.) “Please take your photos safely—we certainly don’t want anyone running alongside a moving bus for a selfie!” adds Liz Solomon, Marketing Director. “But if you see a stopped bus with one of our ads featured on the side—or if you spot a VNSNY ad during your travels—we’d love you to take out your phone and snap a picture!”

To get the ball rolling, VNSNY’s Marketing staff hit the streets over the weekend (see slideshow below). Your photos can be submitted by sending them to Frontline. If you can, please tell us where your selfie was taken as well. All staff selfies will be posted on Frontline VNSNY and also on VNSNY’s Facebook page and other social media sites.
