VNSNY Featured on BronxNet TV for LGBT Health Awareness Week

As part of National LGBT Health Awareness Week, which ran from March 26 through March 30, VNSNY’s Rhonda Soberman, Manager of Program Development, and Jennifer Rajewski, Senior Vice President of Partners in Care, were interviewed on BronxNet TV. During the broadcast, Jennifer and Rhonda explained why the stigmatization many older LGBT individuals have experienced can make them hesitate to seek out health care services, and described how VNSNY is overcoming these barriers to care by creating a “welcoming and bias-free” space for older LGBT adults.
