Join the SSCoP’s “Elder Abuse Part 2: What to Do” Presentation by Zoom on Friday, June 7
All VNS Health team members are welcome to join the next presentation in The Social Services Community of Professionals (SSCoP) 2024 Community Connections Series, “Elder Abuse, Part 2: What to Do?”
In Elder Abuse Part 2, we’ll explore how to report suspected abuse and discuss community resources.

Please join the Shades of Blackness ERG on Tuesday, June 11th in celebration of Juneteenth. There will be a total of 6 prizes up for winning, so we urge you to sharpen up on your history. Some of the prizes are for the best dress outfit in celebration of Juneteenth, trivia, and bingo.

Self-Defense Class Being Offered in Harlem on Saturday, June 29, by a Local Organization
In addition to the self-defense classes offered by VNS Health this week, we also wanted to make you aware of another self-defense class being offered in Harlem by a local organization on June 29.
Sisters in Purple and Diana Bidea will be hosting, “Take Back Your Power: Women’s Self Defense Day,” on Saturday, June 29, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event will take place in Harlem at the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building, located at 163 West 125th Street, New York, NY 10027.
This event is free, but if you are interested in attending, we recommend registering in advance to reserve your spot.
