Fight the Flu, Get Your Flu Shot!

November 4, 2025–Flu season is here, and getting your flu shot is one of the best ways to protect yourself and the people you care for. Many of our patients are at higher risk for serious illness. All patient-facing staff need to get the flu shot or sign a declination form by December 1. If you’re not vaccinated once flu is declared prevalent in New York State, you’ll need to wear a mask around patients. It’s easy to get your shot, through your doctor, urgent care, or pharmacy. All patient-facing team members need to be vaccinated or sign a declination form by Monday, December 1. February 25, 2025–VNS Health is committed to keeping its team members safe, particularly those who work in the field. In fact, VNS Health has an individual on staff whose primary focus is to keep all team members safe. Lauren Campbell, our Emergency Management and Employee Safety Director, works with departments across the organization as well as outside agencies to implement and maintain policies and procedures designed to keep both team members in the field and those based in the office as safe as possible.  What does this mean for you? How Will the New Administration in Washington Impact Health Care and VNS Health?

January 21, 2025–A new administration in Washington often means new Federal health care policies. With President Trump taking the presidential oath of office yesterday, what changes will there be and how will they affect VNS Health? Frontline put these questions to Dan Lowenstein, Senior Vice President and head of our Government Affairs (GA) team. We now have a new president who’s bringing in his own cabinet, including new leadership in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The VNS Health Awards Ceremony Photos Are Here! Plus a Recording of the Celebration!

November 1, 2024–The first ever VNS Health Annual Awards Ceremony took place on Monday, October 28. On one special evening, 25 team members were honored.
