Good morning, I saw it was posted that flu shots will be made available at the various branch offices.  Will staff working remotely be allocated time from their workday to travel to their closest location to receive a flu shot?  A: It seems that flu shots are only available during normal business hours.  So, remember that you do not need to come to a VNSNY location to get flu shots.  You can go to CVS, Duane Reade, Walgreens, you can go to your private MD, you can go to a mobile health site.  And all of those are offering flu shots throughout the workday, and some of those locations are even open

You can make an appointment for mobile health. And shortly we will be announcing when we are providing flu shots at our regional offices. Employee Health and Safety  On Friday, I went to CVS for my flu shot with a voucher that I printed out from VNSNY. And I was told that they don’t accept 1199 insurance. Please advise. Marian Haas: Yes. Unfortunately, some of the CVSs seem to be not following the outline for the flu vouchers that we provide. You should not be asked to show your insurance card. The voucher is sufficient for you to get a flu shot free from any CVS, Walgreens or Duane Reade that you might go to. If the daily COVID health assessment could be shortened as the entire process takes 5 minutes of each of our mornings to complete, it would be greatly appreciated. So we are planning to offer flu shots here at our 220 location.  We’re waiting for a flu shot vaccine to be delivered.  We’re hoping that it is imminent.  We did get some vaccine for individuals over the age of 65.  So we’re waiting to get our full compliments of vaccine in, and then we will be providing that information to staff so that they can schedule
