Congratulations to Alicia Melia Gagne-Giuffo, who has been promoted to Manhattan Branch Director, Home Care!
Melia has been with VNS Health for 4 ½ years. Her previous role was as a Clinical Field Manager for Manhattan 3B.
She spent the last 10 years of her nursing career in home care, working in several different CHHAs prior to joining VNS Health. As a field nurse, Melia has worked in many different areas of Manhattan. At VNS Health, she has done per-diem work as a field nurse completing OASIS assessment visits for our weekend operations and has deep knowledge as an HCHB Pointcare user.
We are pleased to announce that Minerva Gamarra has been promoted to Associate Director of OASIS Outcomes, Utilization and Clinical Operations Support for Home Care.
Minerva has been with VNS Health for 19 years. The most recent 4 ½ years were with the Education & Professional Development department, and prior to that, she worked as a field clinician for VNS Health Home Care.
Before coming to VNS Health, she worked in various roles including as an Assistant Rehabilitation Director at a sub-acute rehabilitation facility and as a traveling Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings including Acute care, Sub-acute, and outpatient.
Minerva is a licensed Occupational Therapist and is OASIS Certified.

Participate in the MOSAIC ERG’s “Cultural Cuisine Corner” Recipe Submission Challenge
Do you have a passion for cooking and want to share your cultural heritage with your colleagues? The MOSAIC ERG invites you to participate in our exciting competition, where you can showcase your culinary skills and contribute to our very own “Cultural Cuisine Corner” digital recipe book, which will be located on the MOSAIC Intranet site.
This extraordinary collection of recipes will celebrate the diverse cultures represented within our organization and provide a delightful culinary journey for everyone to enjoy!
What’s in it for you? Have your favorite cultural recipe featured with your name credited alongside it. Additionally, the first 50 employees to submit their recipes will be entered into an exciting raffle in which two lucky winners will each receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
How to participate:
1. Fill out THIS FORM by Saturday, September 16.
2. Share your cultural cooking recipe, providing clear instructions, measurements, and ingredients. Remember, this is your chance to showcase the flavors of your heritage, so don’t hold back!
3. (OPTIONAL) Share what your recipe means to you; attach photos of your mouthwatering dish, and if you’d like, share some snaps of yourself preparing the recipe or any other culinary creations. Let’s make it a visual feast as well!
