Stacey Gladstone to Receive ANAC’s 2023 President’s Award

Congratulations to Clinical Evaluation Manager, Stacey Gladstone, BSN, RN, ACRN, who has been selected to receive the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care’s (ANAC) 2023 President’s Award. Stacey is the co-lead of SelectHealth’s End the Epidemic program.
Stacey will be honored at the 36th Annual ANAC Conference, during the Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on October 26th in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) is the leading nursing organization responding to HIV/AIDS. Since its founding in 1987, ANAC has been meeting the needs of nurses and other healthcare professionals in HIV/AIDS care, research, prevention, and policy. ANAC is made up of more than 40 chapters located around the world. It comprises a dedicated group of nurses, healthcare professionals and others from around the world who are committed to HIV/AIDS nursing. These affiliate members include social workers, pharmacists, physician assistants, lawyers and doctors; i.e. anyone involved in the care and support of people with HIV and/or AIDS.

Sign Up to Take a Transgender 101 Training Session on Friday, September 29th, Presented by VNS Health’s Gender Affirmation Program (GAP)

VNS Health’s Gender Affirmation Program (GAP) presents Transgender 101, a training session available to all clinical and nonclinical VNS Health team members.
Three training sessions will be held on Friday, September 29th at 220 East 42nd Street, New York, NY in the 5th Floor Harlem/Oakwood Conference Rooms.
Choose one of three sessions on Friday, September 29:
- 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
The special guest speaker for these sessions will be Dr. Gennifer Herley. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this free, voluntary training. Breakfast/lunch will be served.
Update: All three training sessions will also be offered by Zoom. Just click on the link at the start time of the session that you would like to attend. (Note: The same Zoom link will be used for all three sessions.)

September is Emergency Preparedness Month: Learn How You Can Be Prepared

If an emergency or important incident or event occurs, VNS Health wants to be able to contact you. Please take a moment to make sure that we have your most up-to-date contact information on hand.
Workday Users: Review your emergency and personal contact information in Workday at least once a year, and be sure to keep it updated!
How You Can Be Prepared in an Emergency:
There are important things you should know and things you can do now to better prepare yourself in the event of an emergency. Some of these things include knowing New York City’s hurricane evacuation zones, preparing a Go Bag, and keeping a Household Emergency Kit.
