The 2025 VNS Health Annual Performance Evaluation Process is Officially Underway! To Begin the Process, Your Self-Evaluation Must Be Completed in Workday by Today, Friday, November 14.

On Monday, October 20, the 2025 VNS Health Annual Performance Evaluation Process officially launched in Workday for all employees hired on or before Friday, August 1, 2025.

This annual process is a key part of our performance-driven culture—one that supports our strategic goals and strengthens our impact on the communities we serve. It’s an opportunity for each of us to reflect on our accomplishments, consider areas for growth, and actively contribute to a culture of engagement, development, and excellence.

What You Can Expect

As an employee, you’ll begin by completing your self-evaluation, which is due by today, Friday, November 14. This is your chance to highlight your achievements, share progress on goals, and identify areas where you’d like to grow.

To support you in this process, we’ll be offering workshops that walk through the evaluation framework, explain our rating scale, and review the concept of calibration—a practice we began in 2024 to ensure fairness and consistency in how performance is evaluated across VNS Health. To sign-up for a workshop, click here. Once you’ve signed up for the course, you’ll receive an email with step-by-step instructions on how to add the session to your calendar.

Key Dates:

  • October 20: Launch of evaluations in Workday; self-evaluations begin.
  • November 14: Deadline to complete your self-evaluation.
  • November 17 – December 5: Managers review evaluations and assign initial ratings in Workday.
  • January 5 – February 13: Calibration sessions held across business units.
  • By February 20: Managers finalize ratings in Workday.
  • February 23 – March 13: Managers hold performance conversations with employees.

We encourage you to take time to thoughtfully complete your self-evaluation and use it as a springboard for a meaningful conversation with your manager. Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence at VNS Health.

Make Your Strength from Within Gift by Wednesday, December 31 to Contribute Directly to Our Charitable Care and Community Impact Programs.

For more than 130 years, VNS Health has been here when New Yorkers need us. That legacy continues because of you. Every day, more than 73,000 people count on us for care, support, and compassion, and many of them are facing real challenges. They may be isolated, overlooked, or struggling to access the help they need. You make sure they’re not alone.

Last year, because of your generosity and the support of our community partners, we provided over $69 million in Charitable Care and Community Impact Programs. That’s not just a number. That’s real help for real people, including children, families, older adults, and those living with serious illness. You helped make that happen.

On Thursday, October 23 we kicked off our 2025 Strength from Within employee giving campaign. This is our chance to come together once again in support of the mission we live every day.

We’re proud to share that the leadership team has pledged $45,000 in matching gifts, and we hope you will join them. Every gift, no matter the amount, goes directly to our Charitable Care and Community Impact Programs. You can even choose exactly where your donation is directed. It’s one more way to make your impact personal.

Visit vnshealth.org/strengthfromwithin by Wednesday, December 31 to make your gift or sign up for payroll deductions.

Thank you for being part of this campaign and for everything you do to support our mission.
