Baseball is Officially Back! Get Your Tickets Now to See the Yankees Take on the Mets on Tuesday, July 23

Join VNS Health and the New York Yankees for a fun-filled day at Yankee Stadium! Watch as the Yankees and Mets face off in the Subway Series at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday, July 23rd at 7:05 p.m.

Each Ticket includes a New York Yankees hat with the VNS Health logo.

You can choose from three ticket options, starting at $121.72 per ticket:

  1. Ticket only option:
    • Price: $121.72
    • Includes: Ticket in either Section 305, 306 or 307, and New York Yankees hat with VNS Health logo
  2. Terrace Level All You Care To Enjoy option:
    • Price: $179.35
    • Includes: Ticket in either Section 305, 306 or 307; New York Yankees hat with VNS Health logo; and an all-inclusive menu of food and Pepsi products until 90 minutes after scheduled first pitch. (Menu: Hot dogs, pretzels, sausages, Pepsi products, water)
  3. Mastercard Batter’s Eye Deck option:
    • Price: $235.94
    • Includes: Ticket in Section 205; New York Yankees hat with VNS Health logo; and all-inclusive food, craft beer, and hard seltzers for 90 minutes prior to the game. (Menu: Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, french fries, mixed green salad, Pepsi products, craft beer, and hard seltzers)
    • If you purchase this option, upon arrival, please enter the Stadium through Gate 8 and follow the stairs up to the Mastercard Batter’s Eye Deck.

Once inside the Stadium, please head over to the redemption table located on the Field Level (100 Level) next to Gate 2 up to 60 minutes after the originally scheduled first pitch.



Attention VNS Health Runners! Registration is Now Open for the 2024 JP Morgan Corporate Challenge on Wednesday, May 29

Attention VNS Health Runners! There is no better way to enjoy a beautiful spring evening in Central Park than to put on your running shoes and participate in the 2024 Corporate Challenge Run. So, runners, come join us for a 3.5 mile race!

We welcome walkers, joggers, and runners of all fitness levels to participate. All participants are allotted up to a pace of 20 minutes per mile to complete the course (1 hour and 10 minutes total) from the time they cross the race’s start line.

  • Date of Run: Wednesday, May 29th
  • Time: 6:45 p.m.
  • Location: Central Park

How to Register:

  2. Click on May 29th under “Register as a Participant”

Additional Information:

  • Registration will be open until Tuesday, April 23rd (or until VNS Health reaches the maximum capacity of participants)
  • VNS Health will reimburse race participants half of the fee, provided that they attend on the day of the run
  • All team members will receive a branded T-shirt to wear during the race (Details to follow)

All VNS Health Team Members are Invited to Attend Henry Street’s Ninth Annual Lillian Wald Symposium, Welcoming New Migrant Neighbors: Can NYC Live Our Ideals? – Wednesday, April 17 at Abrons Arts Center

You are invited to Henry Street Settlement’s 9th Annual Lillian Wald Symposium to take place at Abrons Arts Center’s Playhouse Theater, 466 Grand Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 

About the Symposium:

The Lillian Wald Symposium—named for Henry Street’s founder—is a free event that brings people together to grapple with the most pressing issues of our times. This year, our speakers will be addressing all aspects of the recent increase of migrants and asylum seekers to NYC—speaking about topics such as shelter, work permits, and funding. Join us in a dialogue about the realities that migrants to New York City are facing and about our legal, practical, and ethical responsibilities in supporting our new neighbors.

  • Arnel Lanoy, Henry Street Settlement program participant

Virtual Meditation: Classes available Mondays and Fridays

About the class: In 30 minutes, you can learn effective stress reduction techniques, improve your focus and concentration, and help improve your social and emotional well-being. This program will be led by Shevy Katan, Senior Teacher, Director of Programming at Yoga Stages corporate wellness consultants. The series is facilitated by Bryant Keller, Yoga Instructor and VNS Health Hospice Volunteer. Hatha Yoga: Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.​​​

About the class: Wear something comfy, find a little space to stretch out, grab a yoga mat if you have one, and let’s share a practice! The goal is a safe, injury-free practice to add to your self-care routine and have some fun. A free series of one-hour classes with a yoga sequence designed to keep the body strong and able. Accessible for all ages, body types, and flexibilities, there are no extreme or trick postures, just clean, effective, balancing and strengthening.

Yin Yoga: Saturdays from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

About the class: Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, passive type of yoga that incorporates long holds and deep breaths for a stretch that gets right into the muscle fibers. Designed to prepare the body for comfort in seated meditation, Yin yoga is the perfect complement to more vigorous Yang-based practices like Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Power Yoga.

Yin Yoga involves a series of seated and supine postures, typically held for 3 – 5 minutes at a time. During these prolonged periods of stillness, the yogi experiences a surrendering sensory awakening that melts away residual tension and stress. Long Yin Yoga holds are also known to release repressed or stored emotions, leaving the yogi feeling lighter, clearer, and completely relaxed.

Yin Yoga is an excellent practice for beginners. It gives them plenty of time to uncover the unique benefits of individual poses without worrying about tricky transitions. It’s also a tried-and-true technique for yogis of all levels to experience full body release. Those recovering from an injury or looking to lengthen versus strengthen will feel right at home in a Yin Yoga class.

If possible, please set up your computer near a couch or chair, and have some pillows or a foldable blanket nearby. Wear something comfy, find a little space to stretch out, grab a yoga mat if you have one, and let’s share a practice!


Pilates: Classes available on Wednesdays

About the class: This class will address developing strength, flexibility, and an increase in range of motion for the joints. Pilates looks to train the body as an “integrated whole focusing on core, lower body, and upper body strength and posture”. Pilates workouts also help to promote balanced muscle development. Students can expect to begin with a warm up of the whole body with some gentle stretching. They will learn how to activate their core while moving their legs and arms with an emphasis on awareness and breath. This class is for all levels.
