Congratulations to Kristen Guernier, who has been promoted to Manager, Onboarding!
After more than two years working in various roles within HR, Kristen has now joined the HR Talent Acquisition team as Manager, Onboarding, currently reporting to Gail Thakarar.
In her new role, Kristen will continue to collaborate with teams both across the organization and within HR to facilitate a positive candidate and new employee experience, as well as design and implement strategic improvement initiatives for recruitment and retention.
Congratulations, again, Kristen! We have no doubt that you will have continued success in your new role.
Join the SSCoP’s “Elder Abuse 101” Presentation on Friday, January 26
Join The Social Services Community of Professionals (SSCoP) as they present “Elder Abuse 101.” The Zoom presentation will be held on Friday, January 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This event is open to all VNS Health team members. It will feature guest speaker, Arlene Markarian, from the Family & Children’s Association in Long Island. Ms. Markarian will present guidelines for medical professionals to identify elder abuse, including: signs of abuse, a profile of an abuser, what to document, and what to do if you suspect abuse.
