New Branch Directors on the Home Care Team!

Congratulations to Jonelle Anderson, who has been promoted to Branch Director for Brooklyn B01 and B03. Jonelle brings 23 years of dedicated service to VNS Health, beginning her career as a field nurse in Queens. She quickly became known for building meaningful connections with patients and delivering exceptional care. Over the past decade, as a Clinical Field Manager in the Long Island Branch, Jonelle has led with empathy, integrity, and agility while always ensuring that operations run smoothly, and teams feel supported. She is also a 2025 VNS Health ESPRIT Award recipient, recognizing her outstanding commitment to our mission.
*Fun fact: Jonelle loves baking (she’s currently perfecting her sourdough bread!) and enjoys whitewater rafting during the warmer months.

We’re also thrilled to welcome back Michele Gomes as Branch Director in the CHHA Manhattan Region, where she will oversee several specialty programs. Michele previously served as a Branch Director with VNS Health, where she played a key role in streamlining workflows and driving operational excellence. During her prior tenure, she earned her Lean Six Sigma certification, demonstrating her passion for continuous improvement. Since then, she has expanded her expertise in nursing informatics, helping implement and optimize electronic medical record (EMR) systems at her last organization. Michele’s combination of clinical insight, technical skill, and leadership experience will be a tremendous asset as she returns to VNS Health.
Please join us in congratulating Jonelle and Michele and welcoming them to their new roles. Their leadership, expertise, and enthusiasm will strengthen our shared mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to those we serve.

Make Your Strength from Within Gift by Wednesday, December 31 to Contribute Directly to Our Charitable Care and Community Impact Programs.

For more than 130 years, VNS Health has been here when New Yorkers need us. That legacy continues because of you. Every day, more than 73,000 people count on us for care, support, and compassion, and many of them are facing real challenges. They may be isolated, overlooked, or struggling to access the help they need. You make sure they’re not alone.
Last year, because of your generosity and the support of our community partners, we provided over $69 million in Charitable Care and Community Impact Programs. That’s not just a number. That’s real help for real people, including children, families, older adults, and those living with serious illness. You helped make that happen.
On Thursday, October 23 we kicked off our 2025 Strength from Within employee giving campaign. This is our chance to come together once again in support of the mission we live every day.
We’re proud to share that the leadership team has pledged $45,000 in matching gifts, and we hope you will join them. Every gift, no matter the amount, goes directly to our Charitable Care and Community Impact Programs. You can even choose exactly where your donation is directed. It’s one more way to make your impact personal.
Visit vnshealth.org/strengthfromwithin by Wednesday, December 31 to make your gift or sign up for payroll deductions.
Thank you for being part of this campaign and for everything you do to support our mission.
