Winter News Briefs: Catch Up on What’s Happening Around VNS Health!
March 5, 2024–Although the weather may not always seem like it, it’s still officially winter. (In case you don’t believe us, here are a couple of photos that were sent into Frontline after our last snowstorm.) EasyCare and EasyCare Plus Enrollment Exceeds Goals VNS Health’s Medicare Advantage plan, EasyCare, and its Medicare dual special-needs plan, EasyCare Plus, surpassed their enrollment goals for 2024. Together, the two plans enrolled over 2,500 members during last fall’s open enrollment, almost 1,000 members above their target! (And when you include VNS Health Total, our MAP plan, we completed 2,800 enrollments in total.) Credit for the plans’ strong performance goes

“Neighborhood Spotlight” Video Series Wins Highest Honor at the AVA Digital Awards!
February 2, 2024–VNS Health’s “Neighborhood Spotlight” video series just won Platinum at the AVA Digital Awards – the competition’s most prestigious award! The series won in the Long Form Video category. To give you an idea of the caliber of companies that compete in the AVA Digital Awards, Platinum Award winners in other categories included Mass Mutual, AT&T, AARP, Cirque du Soleil, and NBC Universal. The AVA Digital Awards competition is an international recognition of excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design, and production of digital communication. The Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the oldest, largest, and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry. January 16, 2024–79 VNS Health team members and 17 teams made such an outstanding impression on our patients, members, clients as well as their family members that they wrote letters, called, emailed, and even drew a picture to show just how pleased they were with the care they received. In 2023… For the third straight year, Dan Savitt is named to the City & State Health Care Power 100 List. The Power 100 recognizes New York’s most influential leaders and decision-makers in health care. Team members mark MLK Day of Service. On January 16th, in honor of Dr. King’s spirit, 172 VNS Health team members mail greeting cards to over 2,500 VNS Health patients, members, and clients. “Win-Win” Referrals Employee Referral Program Campaign Launches. One of the best ways that VNS Health hires clinicians and home health aides is through referrals. This “Win-Win”
