Meet Our 2024 Shared Services Contact Center Agent of the Year: Jasmin Harry

VNS Health Contact Center Agent Jasmin Harry is committed to the Center’s goal of “first call resolution”—to resolve a plan member’s needs or concerns on the first call. “I want to always be a person of my word and will do whatever it takes to make that happen,” says Jasmin, who was named VNS Health’s 2024 Shared Services Contact Center Agent of the Year.

In her role supporting the Health Plans Medicare team, Jasmin’s commitment shone through in a recent interaction with the daughter of two plan members. The daughter contacted the Center to get her parent’s services changed.  She got a verbal yes, but it took a while for the paperwork to come through. Jasmin was on it from the start, and worked tirelessly to ensure the changes were made quickly.

“Jasmin treats all members the same and always tries to resolve their issues on the first call,” says her award nomination. “She always makes members feel important and valued. Her notes are very clear and easy to understand and always show compassion.”

Jasmin describes herself as an extrovert who loves working in a customer-facing role because it allows her to touch as many lives as possible. She is passionate about building relationships and making a difference in the lives of people in need.

Jasmin says she is humbled to receive the Shared Services Contact Center Agent of the Year Award, especially as it comes because her colleagues nominated her. Over four-plus years, Jasmin has taken great pride in working at VNS Health, which completes a story for her. Twenty-four years ago, a VNS Health nurse helped her with her son, and later on, a VNS Health nurse took care of another family member. “I love VNS Health,” she says, “and I’m thankful for the opportunity to be a part of an organization that has been there for me in my own life.”
