March in the Forest Hills Annual Memorial Day Parade

Join VNS Health’s Veterans Program on Sunday, May 28th as they march in the Forest Hills Annual Memorial Day Parade. This event is hosted by the American Legion Continental Post 1424. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the parade will step off at noon.

VNS Health team members are invited to attend the ceremony if they like or just walk in the parade.

Here’s What You Need to Know:

Where and when is it?

The Memorial ceremony with speeches takes place at 11:00 a.m. in front of the American Legion Continental Post Building at 107-15 Metropolitan Avenue, Forest Hills, NY, 11375.

The March starts from there at 12:00 p.m. and follows Metropolitan Avenue West.

Note: If you are just marching and not attending the ceremony, you should arrive at least 15 minutes before 12:00 p.m. so you have time to find the VNS Health Veterans Program team. 

How to sign up?

Anyone who is interested in attending should email [email protected] with their name and department by Friday, May 26th and let us know they will be coming. However, if you would like to march and forget to RSVP, it is okay to show up on the day of the parade without RSVPing ahead of time!
