Homecare Homebase Honors VNS Health with Home Health KPI Excellence Award

We are excited to announce that Homecare Homebase (HCHB) honored VNS Health with its Home Health KPI Excellence award at their annual conference in Dallas, Texas, which was held from June 12 – 14, 2023. This award is given to clients who are performing in the top 3% of the 60-day Re-Hospitalization rate. The award was accepted by Elsa Lam.
VNS Health was well represented by Home Care, Hospice, Quality, Revenue Cycle, and IT at HCHB’s annual conference, with team members Elsa Lam, VP, Regional Patient Care Services, Laura Garcia, Manager, Education, Hospice, Anne Suddaby, Director, Hospice Support Services, Li-wen Tsai, Quality Improvement Manager, Clinical, Lynette Ramlogan, Associate Director, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement, Felix Okhiria, VP, Revenue Cycle, Ted Barszewski, Director, Revenue Cycle, and Bob Orlando, VP, Software Engineering & Product Development, all attending the conference.
The team participated in pre-conference cabinet sessions which was split between clinical and financial/back office. This process served to influence the product roadmap with several key HCHB clients.
The main themes of the conference were addressing staffing shortages and making documentation easier for clinicians. In fact, HCHB boldly states they expect to reduce Start of Care (SOC) documentation time by 15-20 minutes. They plan to achieve this lofty goal by modernizing the mobile platform which is currently code-named ‘Project Mustang.” This is expected to be available in Q3 2024 for early adopters. The first group transitioning from PointCare will be Hospice.
Congratulations on receiving this award!
