Happy Caribbean American Heritage Month!

Dear Colleagues,

June is National Caribbean American Heritage Month. Officially recognized by Congress in 2006, it is a time when we honor the vibrant cultures and important contributions of Caribbean Americans, including those of our own team members. 

Here at VNS Health, this heritage is deeply woven into the fabric of our organization and the communities we serve. New York State is home to more than 2 million people with ties to the Caribbean — including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Cuba, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Dominica, and the Bahamas. 

As we salute these wonderfully diverse cultures, I hope you all have a chance to enjoy the celebrations that are taking place in June throughout our area.
