First Doses of COVID Vaccine Are Still Available through March 20th at our VNSNY Clinic — Here’s How You Can Get Vaccinated!
VNSNY’s COVID-19 vaccine program will continue offering first doses of the Moderna vaccine through Saturday, March 20th. Between now and then, our goal is to provide the vaccine to as many Partners in Care home health aides who wish to be vaccinated as possible.
How to Schedule Your COVID Vaccination
There are two easy ways to schedule an appointment at the VNSNY Vaccine Clinic at 220 East 42nd Street:
Simply fill out a Vaccine Request form by clicking here...…or call our Vaccination Hotline at: 212-609-4126. (For Chinese-speaking home health aides, call 212-609-7776.) If you get a recording, leave your name and phone number, and a scheduler will call you back.
All Home Health Aides Will Receive an Extra $100 After Your Second COVID Vaccine Dose!
The Moderna COVID vaccine is given in two shots, 28 days apart, by VNSNY nurses. Every aide who has received the second shot will receive $100 (less required taxes) as compensation for the time you took off from work to get vaccinated, and in appreciation for doing the right thing for yourself, your patients, and your families. If you have already received your two vaccine doses, you will also receive the $100.
If you receive the vaccine doses from VNSNY, the $100 will be automatically added to your paycheck. You do not need to call us. If you get the shot from somewhere else instead of VNSNY, you will need proof of vaccination. You can submit proof of your vaccination three ways:
- Mail to Partners in Care Health Services, 220 E 42nd Street, 2nd Floor, NY, NY 10017
- Fax to 212-290-3184
- Email to [email protected]
The Moderna vaccine is safe and effective at preventing COVID-19 illness. For more information on the vaccine, please visit https://frontline.vnshealth.org//latest-vaccine-news/
Family and Friends Vaccine Standby List
We also continue to maintain our vaccination Standby List for eligible family members and friends of VNSNY employees who are New York State residents and meet the eligibility criteria for New York’s Phase 1a or 1b. In some cases, we are now able to schedule these people for appointments depending on our daily schedule. To place family and friends who qualify for vaccine on this Standby List, click here.
Second-Dose Appointment Reminder
If you’ve already received your first vaccine dose, please watch for an email reminder about your second dose. That email will be sent the day before your second-dose appointment. The date and time for your second dose is also written on the COVID-19 Vaccination Card that you were given when you received your first dose. Be sure to bring this card (pictured below) to your second dose appointment — it has important medical information about the vaccine you received.
