Carolina Arias, Accounting Promotion

We are excited to announce that Carolina Arias has been promoted to Accounting Supervisor within the General Accounting Department. Her team will be responsible for the invoicing and tracking of expenses for all of the Behavioral Health grant-funded contracts. She will be the main liaison for the audits related to the Behavioral Health grants and will assist in external reporting for those grants as needed.

Carolina joined VNS Health in August 2020 as a Senior Accountant. She has a Masters in Accounting from Hunter College and had previously worked at Safe Horizon, Inc., a  non-profit organization supporting victims of violence. Her prior experience with several different funding streams has provided great insight into best practices and procedure modifications to make our processes more efficient.
