Your Voice Matters, So Make It Heard! 5 Key Facts About the Pulse Employee Engagement Survey

All VNSNY employees recently received an email from [email protected] with a link to the latest installment of our Pulse Employee Engagement Survey. This survey is critically important both to VNSNY as an organization and to you as a VNSNY staff member. Last spring, a record 62% of VNSNY staffers responded to the previous Pulse Survey. Here are five things to keep in mind as we push toward our goal of 100% participation!

 

1) The Pulse Survey takes just a few minutes to complete. The survey consists of a few simple questions plus a comment section that can easily be answered online, using your VNSNY computer or mobile device.

2) You have until October 4th to complete the survey. But don’t wait until the last minute—complete the survey now, so you can check it off your “to do” list!

3) If you haven’t responded to the survey email, you’ll be reminded to do so. Those who haven’t yet taken the survey will continue to receive an emailed link to the survey every few days up until the October 4th deadline.

4) Everyone’s survey responses matter. While each person’s responses are confidential, all comments are carefully reviewed and survey trends are tracked and recorded.

5) What people say in their surveys translates into real change. “We’re listening closely to what people tell us in their Pulse Survey responses, and we’re continuing to improve how we operate based on survey results,” notes Marki Flannery, VNSNY’s President and CEO. “Many of you have told us how important it is to you to have your voice heard within the organization. This is your opportunity to tell us exactly how VNSNY can improve what it’s doing, as well as what we’re doing right!”
