One of the many ways we can acknowledge the importance of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York turning 125 years old this year is to give some thought as to what would tell the story of who we are as an organization in 2018 to the employees of VNSNY 125 years from now!
With this in mind, we’ve decided to create a special VNSNY Time Capsule! What will go into this time capsule? That’s where you come in! We’re looking for ideas on what should represent VNSNY in 2018.
It should be items that reflect who we are as an organization today and what we do right now. For instance, it might be an ID card or a pay stub, a uniform, a clinician’s backpack, a printout of Frontline VNSNY… you get the idea. We’re looking for ideas from across the organization — Home Care, Hospice, Partners in Care, VNSNY CHOICE.
We really want to hear from you! When you submit your ideas, you’ll automatically be entered into a special VNSNY Time Capsule Raffle. First prize will be four free admission tickets to Disneyworld. Second prize is a $200 gift certificate to Union Square Cafe in New York City. Third prize is a $50 Visa gift card.
VNSNY’s message to the future is in your hands, so please submit any and all of your ideas to Frontline VNSNY no later than Tuesday, September 25.
The VNSNY Time Capsule will be stored at an off-site archival location. Before we place it in storage — not to be opened for decades — we will post a photo gallery on Frontline of all the items that were included in the time capsule.
