Frontline VNSNY is excited to bring you the fifth edition of “Neighborhood Spotlight” — VNSNY’s inside look at the neighborhoods we serve and the home care heroes who provide compassion and care in them! In this video, Amery Moultry meets up with Occupational Therapist Umesh Kadam to discuss the complex health needs faced by Bangladeshi members of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community found in Jackson Heights. You’ll also hear from Behavioral Health Program Manager Susan Clayton-Meyer, as she checks in with Umesh on VNSNY’s response to behavioral health challenges compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic.
