Brrrr, It’s Cold! Staff Braves the Polar Vortex of January 2019
January 31, 2019
That sting on your cheeks says it all: The thermometer in New York City officially bottomed out at 6 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, and the temperature still hadn’t risen above 10 degrees by the late morning. Between today’s Arctic cold snap and yesterday’s flash-whiteout snow squall, VNSNY’s intrepid staff are braving the elements once again in the service of our patients and plan members.
Below are photographs sent in by staff members yesterday and today from the frigid streets. Thank you for the photos and for your tremendous dedication—and stay bundled up out there!
